Why do we believe in better?
Because we know Lincoln County kids are the best around. We believe every child in this county deserves access to quality child care and opportunities to learn and grow on their own path.
The Lincoln County Youth Center is managed by the Lincoln County Youth Commission in partnership with the Lincoln County Board of County Commissioners. Our mission is to provide foundational and experiential education opportunities, along with quality childcare, for the children of Lincoln County, Idaho.
We are dedicated to fostering an environment where every child feels respected, loved, and empowered. Through our programs, children develop self-respect, self-control, and confidence in their social interactions while gaining essential life skills such as independence, problem-solving, and teamwork.
By nurturing both academic and social readiness, we help children build a strong foundation—not just for kindergarten and grade school, but for a lifetime of learning, growth, and success.

A Distinct Identity
Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. In March of 2020, our county and city leaders realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch
Lincoln County Youth Center.
